David Yost is an American actor most notably known for his role as Billy the Blue Ranger on the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. Power Rangers has gone on to become one of the most successful children's television franchise of all time. Yost starred in 200 episodes over the course of the original series run as well as starring in the feature film, Power Rangers: the Movie, which was produced by 20th Century Fox. Yost has also starred in other television series, feature films and movies-of-the week.
Behind the scenes, Yost has held many prominent positions in the Entertainment Industry. As the Manager of Licensing for Pioneer/Geneon Entertainment, he is responsible for helping Japanese Anime make a presence in the US television market by selling Heat Guy J to MTV and Trigun to Cartoon Network. He licensed numerous Anime titles to various broadcasters and distributors on a global level. As the Director of Production & Administration for the Sci Fi Lab, a development think tank for the SyFy Channel, Yost was involved in the production of many innovative shows that eventually aired on the Network like Scare Tactics which was hosted by Shannon Dougherty. As a Producer, Yost has worked on numerous shows, most recently notable The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Yost has also served as a Location Manager for NTSF:SUV:SD:: and Newsreaders airing on Adult Swim and Burning Love airing on the E! Network.
Based in Los Angeles, Yost continues to work as an actor and producer.
