Originally from New York, Philip was a late bloomer to acting. With degrees in business management and accounting and after a long stint in the family business (a soft drink bottling Co), an acting career never occurred to him until the late nineties when he was nudged into it while living in Austin TX.
Then back to New York to study acting and then a move to LA where his career started to take off.
Having a diverse background which includes running the family business, teaching personal development courses, life coaching and producing, Philip brings to his roles a wealth of life experience.
Although most known especially in the Horror Genre for playing the “Old Woman” in Black his other credits include The soon to be released “Kevin Harts Guide to Black History” "Interwoven", "Insidious", “Head Cases”"Shadow of the Blair Witch", "7th Heaven", "Hawthorne", "Eli Stone", "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and “True Jackson, VP”.
